When you think about it, rock n' roll bands are brands too. And all great brands ought to have a great logo. Here, according to Spinner Magazine, are the top 25 band logos. I won't ruin the list, but as an avowed Dead Head, I feel the Steal Your Face logo needs to be a mite higher than 8. I'm just saying. Check out the best band logos here.

Ah, nothing to get music geeks all lathered up more than deliberating relative greatness. Must say I was a bit gobsmacked to not see Zep's "swan song" / Bonzo's three rings logos, but H.I.M. and that bad trip of a Phish logo were in the mix?! Happy to see Black Flag, but what punk fan worth his/her salt can forget the Dead Kennedys' "DK", the original Clash logo or the band X fer chrissakes?! I would also humbly submit my hometown heroes: Rocket From The Crypt and a circular rocket logo that (countless) fans would tattoo for lifetime free entry to their shows. Thanks for the link. And debate(!)

Possibly a list-spoiler, but... No Dead Kennedys logo? What? Really?

What's really great is how many of them were designed by the band members themselves.
Of course I have a fave, and it's actually tattooed on my arm.
