Everything I need to know about advertising I learned from Star Wars
I kept waiting for the twist until the bitter end on that damn Microsoft ad. As much as I (and a lot of us) bag on CPB, I really wanted to see something awesome. It was pure fucking non sequitur rambling. I hope the next ones are better.
RE: I'm a PC spots. At first I was liking the spot because at least it was trying to make a connection. But at the end it just felt empty. Pharrell uses it? I don't care. The ad: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkZdkHylJ3w
The brilliance of the Mac ads is they give you a benefit delivered in an entertaining way. Example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VuqZ8AqmLPY

Great to hear from you guys again. Perhaps you guys can record another quick episode now since the "I'm A PC" spots have started. Seinfeld was in a HP commercial but it seems like everyone didn't get HP's case but because it Microsoft people are up in arms. I don't like the use of PC, such a broad term. Though the new spots you can feel a sense of pride in the brand again. Oh and the Mojave Experiment was done by Bradley & Montgomery, not CP+B. It feels like more people are talking about Microsoft then Apple lately too.
