This extended branding video (aka, corporate video) for Johnny Walker titled, "The Man Who Walked Around the World," has been making the rounds here at SHS and we thought it was worth sharing with everyone. It recently won Best of Show at the One Show and, well, it's damn worthy of the award.
It's an amazing piece of work from all angles -- the writing, directing, timing, casting, delivery, location. It has it all and it grips your attention from the onset. If this doesn't get your creative mind spinning, then I hope you find something that can. Enjoy.

The Magnificent Bastards score. Seriously, this is a stunner. My very favorite thing in a very long time. Thanks to Hey Whipple for the find.
It's been years since I've spent time with Jack Rebney. I've always loved this vid because it's just such a piece of truth about the process. Today, my friend, Russell, was kind enough to inform me about this documentary.
All I have to say is: Fuckin' A.
Over the weekend, Dustin Sharp (Graphic Designer at Callahan Creek) and AC contributor Nick Kinney (CW at Callahan Creek), decided to take their shot at the Cannes Lions 48-Hour YouTube contest.
The creative brief for WaterAid.org was released on Friday night, and by Sunday at noon they had concepted, shot, edited and posted their entry. Naturally, they needed superior talent at the drop of a hat -- and for free. So they turned to yours truly.
Please check it out and if you think it's funny, pass it on to your friends and family. Half of the judging for this contest is based on how many views the spot gets, so any spreading of the word will be appreciated by Dustin and Nick.
Check it out here.
