WSJ: Sopranos vs. Desperate Housewives. So what?

The Wall Street Journal teased the upcoming rating battle between Desperate Housewives and The Sopranos. It actually made me giggle. It's so clearly not a battle. One show will be time-shifted. The other won't be. Easy as pie. The authors of the article admit as much, but say that both shows are water-cooler worthy. So, which one are you going to choose? Simple matter of strategy: You DVR Desperate Housewives. You watch the Sopranos at 8 p.m. CST. If you're still up for keeping your appointment with the Housewives, you can still get in the whole episode before the news. Of course, at our house, DH will get bumped until another day because of my wife's obsession with Grey's Anatomy. In other words, if you're buying time on Desperate Housewives, you really might want to make sure your spots are DVR-worthy when The Sopranos re-emerge.
