Just like some of the creatives at W+K, it seems that Sasquatch has moved from the Pacific Northwest to Hollywood and gotten an agent. And he's getting gigs.
Jack Links made a splash with their Bigfoot character. Now, Boston Pizza has hired Mr. Furry. Oh, and they've also implemented a character blog.
Is it me or does the Boston Pizza version ironically resemble Warwick Davis' character in the Leprechaun movies?
Bigfoot was big in popular culture of the '70s. Seems the legend is striving to make a bit of a comeback in advertising. Just like his old pals, Nessie and The Kraken (Toyota loves monsters).
At any rate, since Boston Pizza shows Bigfoot inside one of their restaurants, it would seem that the company has found a way to compensate for his legendary stench.

Everything I need to know about advertising I learned from Star Wars
Looks a bit -- and by "bit" I mean "exactly" -- like Ron Pearlman. Who at least redeemed his "Beauty and the Beast" sins by being Hellboy.
